Sometimes when I’m really stressed or upset, I like to think about something to look forward to. When I worked at McDonalds back in 2016, I used to imagine my drive back home and I’d get all excited and it helped get me through the day. I’ve done this so much that I gotta wonder if everyone else just pushes through until the exciting part. Sometimes, it’s one of the only ways I can get through the day if it’s an awful start to a day.
Is this a bad way to think or is it a healthy way to deal with stress?
If you have any input, let me know. I’m curious to see what others exciting things to look forward to are and whether or not we should stop doing this.
